Chief Medical Officer zh'Thane made her way around her office, adjusting the various adjustables. After a bit, she managed to get it to her liking. With a slight curl of her antennae, she began sorting through the crates that were stacked in the corner. Pulling out various odd and ends; a few knick-knacks, family photos, ancient Earth medical tools, and finally, her Ushaan-tor. Setting the weapon on her desktop, she sighed softly.
From a lowly Medical officer to Chief Medical Officer on board a new ship; quite a feat, in such a short time. Thankfully, she had the skills to back it up. Slowly, she slipped into her chair, and tapped at the small computer terminal on her desk. A grin crossed her features; she couldn't help but wonder how many Senior Staff personnel she was going to annoy with her reminder.
"Reminder.... Report to Sickbay for pre-launch physicals."[/color]
Once she received the status report, saying it was delivered, she moved out of her office and into the sickbay. Might as well get some tools ready.

As the lift came to a stop and the doors parted she stepped off the lift heading for the double doors of sickbay. Without pause she walked through them and stood infront of a biobed waiting patiently.

She turned to face the entrant, officer Lancaster a smile. She pushed the med cart over to the bio-bed; once at the side, she frowned slightly. "I apologize. I have not dealt with someone of your stature, Lieutenant. What is required in here, to make any visit you have here easy and less awkward?"

She shrugged slightly, "A step stool would do fine, though I can jump too. As long as you don't run around trying to carry me I'm fine."
She grinned thinking back to the doctor who's nose she nearly broke at Starfleet HQ for doing just that. Turning she placed her hands on the biobed and jumped using her upper body to gracefully put herself on the biobed, turning in mid air so that she was facing outward. Years of gymnastics training had it's benefits.

She blushed; her cheeks turning a shade of cobalt. "I apologize. And I'll keep a step stool around; just in case. Thank you for being understanding." She pulled the tri-corder out, and began running the probe over the helm officer. While the small device recorded her bio-metric readings; the bio-bed itself was taking measurements. Weight, balance distribution, posture; all of which were be put into the Lieutenant's file.
"How has Starfleet been treating you, Lieutenant? Besides the treatment for your appearance."

A long, hot temperatured shower followed, and she donned on her uniform. Her hair was woven into braids. Examining herself, she nodded. Professional. She kept her face stern, practicing. It didn't last. Her smile burst forth. Taking in a deep breath, she headed for sickbay, and worked on dimming her smile.
The doors parted and she entered.
"Reporting for pre-launch physical," she gaily announced, and looked curiously around, her eyes landing on the Andorian and the ... child?

"Fine, though I don't understand why the uniforms are so...uncomfortable."
It probably didn't help that the replicator couldn't seem to create a uniform that fit her perfectly. Health wise she was in great shape. She only hoped all the data from her home planet had been uploaded into the computer systems. The fact that she looked human in every way except for the second, much smaller heart her chest contained seemed to throw people off.
As the doors opened she looked up at the woman who entered offering a slight nod.

She nodded slightly, finishing up her scans. "I've had mine tailor made. There was this excellent Cardassian Tailor on Deep Space 9. I knew he had a few colleagues on Betazed. Perhaps we can contact them, when we arrive?"
She replaced the probe into the tri-corder, before informing the Lieutenant; "We're done here. You can return to the bridge, Lieutenant."
The doors hissed open, and revealed a new patient. Her antennae curled slightly, before tilting forward. "Please come in, have a seat on a bio-bed...," she spied the woman's pips, "Lieutenant."

"I may just have to do that, thank you Doctor." She slid herself off the biobed and made her way through the doors and back into the lift.

She gave a little wave to the departing .... little person. There was something odd about this. She'd figure it out later. Backing up to a biobed, she put her hands behind her and lifted her hips right on to it. "Reya. You can just call me Reya."

She nodded slightly, moving towards the trill woman. After tapping a few controls on the tri-corder, she pulled the probe out, and began scanning. "Reya it is. I'm Anikira; but everyone calls me Kira for short. Easier on the tongue, I suppose." She glanced up, smiling slightly; "Ah, you're eating for two."
She tapped at the controls on the bio-bed; having the sensors surrounding, as well as inside the bed, take their readings. She looked up, hopefully her joke didn't go the wrong way. "How long have you been joined?"

Sickbay. For the sick and injured and ailing. He wasn't any of those things, yet here he was. Scrubbing at his hair, rumpling it more than usual, he entered the halo'd grounds of the healing center. He blinked a little sleepily. "Tell me I'm dreaming." He perked up significantly on seeing the ladies. "Definitely not what I was expecting."

Kira looked over her shoulder as the doors parted again. Hell, she didn't mean for everyone to come right away. Her antennae twitched a bit, before calling out; "Computer, activate the Medical Hologram." She didn't hate the hologram, but she didn't really love it, either. It was simply there. Might as well use it until her staff arrives.
As it shimmered into existance, she gave it the why for and how what. Unless it was an emergency, or they were senior staff, the hologram would stall them until the Doctor was ready.

He paused at the doors to sickbay, just as the man entered before him. A frown crossed his features; looked like only one Doctor on duty. And the Medical Hologram. Nah, his check-up could wait a bit. He'd come back later. Kira would understand.

"Anikira is a beautiful name, and just as lovely on the tongue," she smiled. "It's been a few years. Im still marvelling at the changes I've experienced, and the merging of memories."
She looked over as more entered the sickbay, and she chuckled lightly at the comment about dreaming. "One man's nightmare is another man's dream .... "
