Janie stood as the Captain entered the bridge, remembering that Starfleet protocol was not the same as Velari she simply stood quietly next to her modified seat.

He really hadnt paid much attention to who was on the bridge or what was going on. When he looked up and saw Lt. Lancaster standing there.
"Can someone tell me why there is a little girl in a starfleet uniform on my bridge?" Then he thought about the crew report. "Nevermind, Lt. Lancaster I assume? please sit. there is no need to stand everytime I enter the bridge..we can do away with that protocol for now. ok?"
He started to glance around to see who else was on the bridge.

"Yes sir." With that she sat back down and resumed tapping over her console.

Sitting in the captain's chair, he looked up from the padd in his hand when he heard the ready room door open. Raising from the chair, he moved to stand in front of his own chair. Nodding to the captain, he held up the padd.
"Captain," he said. "I was just going over the updated crew report. All but a few of the remaining transfers have come on board."

"Thanks commander , starbase says they will have us ready to go in two days. Check with the Engineering Deptment and make sure they will be ready." He stood and turned to Lt. Subiri "How is the weapon systems Lt?"

Ohgod, she was late, she just knew it. And her uniform was soo NOT comfortable. It snugged in the wrong places and was unflatteringly loose in others. Scowling as she yet again picked at it, she nearly stumbled onto the bridge. She was here already, but she wasnt READY! Clutching a padd, she looked around, eyes just slightly wider than normal. Where was the Captain. Oh, there he was. She glanced at the Commander ... would he be a friend or one of those kind that hazed cadets? Puffing air out of tight lungs, she stood frozen, in spite of her very sure order for her feet to move. She looked down at them. 'Move' she told them silently. 'Now. Geez, now would be good. Move.' Relieved, one foot moved. The relief was short lived. The other foot remained where it was. Maybe she needed a doctor for this strange paralysis? 'Move,' she tried again. Like a wooden pillar, the limb finally shuffled forward. Sigh. At this rate, it would take her all day to cross the bridge. Nice first day. Just great.

Lynora glanced up from her console at all the new entrances. And then the Cadet. Great...more kids, at least she could say this one should be quite a bit more grown up than the three locked up in her quarters with their holo nanny. Oh how she couldn't wait to drop them off with their parents.

Her smile was just as easily directed at the Captain as it was her work panel. "The weapons system is singing sweetly, sir."

He gave a sharp nod and, padd still in hand, started towards the turbolift, just as the new cadet stumbled out onto the bridge. He paused a moment and gave her a curious look, then smiled.
"Doing alright there, cadet?"

Dominick stepped off of the lift, and made his way to the science console. Once he was behind it, he almost immediately began tapping on the glossy surface. As he began running a short diagnostic on the sensor arrays, he began whistling softly. Nodding to himself, occasionally, as he read over the diagnostic test's results. Everything here was in perfect working order. Surprise, surprise.

Was she alright? Was she alright??? Godno she wasn't alright. She sucked in air. "Yessir" she managed, nearly breathless.
She watched the Captain leave, and chewed her lower lip. She was his yeoman, which meant ... right. do her yeoman stuff. Like move her feet.
Shuffling, she made it to the door of his ready room. *Ping*

Still smiling, he nodded and moved towards the ready room door, waiting as the cadet sounded the chime.
