I hope you getting settled in ok, cause Im gonna have to put you right to work. Our first assignment is Pride Landian, they want to open talks again. I wanna hold a diplomatic dinner and meet and greet for the King, he will be coming on board. I assume you know how to set these things up? Get Yeoman Roberts to help you. She straightened up as the Captain came out onto the bridge; and then addressed her. Putting her to work right away, excellent! Her head bobbed slightly as the Captain informed her of what he wanted her to do. "Aye aye, Captain. I'll get right on it."
She smartly turned away, and headed towards the nearby turbolift. Once inside, she called the lift to take her to her office; "Also, access all Starfleet records on Pride Landia; transfer the data to my LCARS terminal, and have Yeoman Roberts report to my office at her earliest opportunity."

"Aye sir." She really didn't feel the need for having 'fun' with flying that term still eluded her. But she would put the ship through every maneuver she could think of and make certain everything checked out.

Captain Rowland looked down at his data panel on the chair and noticed they was getting closer to Pride Landian. He still wanted to have that meeting and hope Cadet Roberts was done with setting up the Briefing room. He reach up to his comm badge "All senior officers to the briefing room in 30mins." he closed the channel, stood up and went to check the Briefing room.
"Commander Kirk the bridge is yours" and with that he was out the door.

The Captain had graciously included her in the information cycle regarding Pride Landian. It brought a faint smile as she heard the name. It had been a long time, but she had a pleasant memory evoked because of it. Shedding her more casual clothing, she donned on her uniform and strolled her way to the turbo lift that took her so swiftly to the bridge. Stepping out, she paused, half closing her eyes, listening to the sounds of a bridge at work. Every bridge had a unique sound, a combination of blips, buzzes, bleeps, and the simple breath and various noises that came and went from living bodies.
She did not make any motion to gain attention. Observation was her forte, and her gaze drifted over the various faces, noting their intentness on the job.
A good crew, it would seem.
Her eyes fell upon the Commander at his post.
He looked comfortable in the chair.

Tassadar glanced up from his engineering console, his dark gaze drifting towards the turbolift. Casually, he looked the woman over, before refocusing on his console. The helm officer was twisting the ship around something good, and it was putting stress on various systems.
With a slight frown, he increased power to the SIF and Inertial Dampener systems; while sending messages to his engineering teams to have the systems double and triple checked. At least their first mission wasn't something outrageous. Hopefully, it would be a while before weapons and shields would have to be tested.

The usual music in her mind was absent. Utterly, flatly, absent. The closer they got to Trill, the dimmer the inner music had become, until all that was left was a gulf of silence.
Reya functioned at her job, almost too well. Orders were crisp, inspections were frequent, and duties were heavily assigned.
She ignored every communique she'd received from Trill. And there had been quite a few since they'd been in orbit.
The job was done from the bridge, unless she felt an urge to do surprise inspections, which she had done almost every four hours.
As long as they remained in orbit, she would remain on duty. Even if it meant a trip to sickbay for stimulants.

As they had progressed to Trill, Isabeth made rounds, prowling various departments, greeting people, getting to know those that might/would/could/should eventually end up in her office at some point. Nothing was out of the ordinary, except a marked change in the chief of security. She made a pass by that station, idly looking at the board and sliding her gaze to Reya. "Been off duty yet?" She knew the officer had not, but was giving her an out to say she would go off now, or some time in the foreseable future.[/font]
